this has nothing to do with stealth or selling but it has been bugging me and trying to find out why?
I meet with a group for dinner on a regular basis,we each order one dish and share.
There is one person who always pick up the remainders ,no matter how little or how much is left on the plate ,shoving it into a styrofoam container with different compartments saying it is better than cooking your own meals.
Restaurant food is good when it first come out and piping hot, after sitting around and being picked over,it is just not the same anymore, what is left is just some juice and ??,why does anyone want to take them home and heat it up the next day?
I can see if some one left half a duck or steak untouched but drips of veggies and ??
Not to mention these days the restaurants have replaced the cook with the dishwasher to do the cooking.
BTW,this person is or was quite well heeled.

The only ones who do that are the ones who do not know how to cook the same dishes, but there is hardly anything left ?You figure if it is good, there wont be any leftover.

I don't find it worth it to take food if there is hardly anything left - valid point - I guess your friend might be odd...does he/she take other people's leftovers too? ...

At one time,I think may be there is a pet,but NO.

Those 6 dishes would be shared by all six diners, placed in the middle of the table with serving spoons,so it is safe.
I will ask next time.
I read recently in Philipines, someone will pick up the leftover chicken dishes in restaurants and sell them in poor neighborhoods?

One of the regular who drinks green tea, decided not to order green tea as it is not free?
It is never free.
I would suggest to him next time to bring his own tea bag and order just hot water!!

I recall when I was in NYC,there is a neighborhood casual dining place-hamburger,hot dog and a condiment bar with lettuce, tomato slices.
4 elderly ladies came with their own sandwich and tea bags, help themselves with lettuce and tomato and hot water, complained the water is not hot enough .
While visiting a friend in Fort Layderdale, the local diners of a polular hamburger joint will buy a cheap burger, then help themselves with free tomato and lettuce, take the ketchup and mayonaise ,mixed them together to form salad dressing, voila,a nice free salad to go with their cheap hamburger,
Not sure if it is mayonaise ,I never see mayonaise at hamburger joint?

Those ladies who complained that the water is not hot enough should be banned from the dining place - ungrateful cheapies.
Mayonnaise exists at the hamburger joints - meh, this free salad creation isn't end of the world...also cheap move but just vegetables...

what does a fast food eater do with mayonaise?
I have seen them putting ketchup on their burger but mayonaise?
If it is a fish sandwich, there is tar tar sauce.
As a college student many moons ago,my treat is a McDonald fish sandwich, these days the fish tastes like cardboard paper.
