EBAY REQUESTS DOCUMENTS - Mismatch names

Need to get my account re-instated. It is a legit account but the names are a bit changed up and eb is requesting documents. I was wondering if anyone knows which is the better option here.

So for example lets say my name is " Christian Johnson" but on my ebay account address and bank attached it is " Chrystian Jonson". Ebay is requesting ID and bank statement. Should i remove my bank from eb and link a new one with proper name added and revise my address and put proper name or should i just provide the ID / bank statement and edit the names on them?

Wondering which solution would be better for them to re instate my account. Again its a legit account with SSN under my real info just the names are slightly changed up.

Only 2 solutions here, remove bank add new one, revise name on eb account
or edit statement / ID and add/remove extra letters to match?

It was deliberate but 12 years ago.

I’m just wondering do I change eBay name/ remove bank and add new bank with matching names or do I submit edited name on ID / statement. Basically wondering what will cause less suspicion.

which bank are you using on the account right now?

Sometimes people go other names and variants which is perfectly legal, I would submit the correct names on the docs and any blow back you can explain that you go by the name on the account.

depends on how they ask , if it is not by email but by red banner they usually give the opportunity to correct the details before ID upload

if it just by email and you have to go to an outside to upload and if they also ask for bank statement the probability is high they want to see another bank

Out of the 2 options you saw, "edit statement / ID and add/remove extra letters to match?" is likely the smoothest - have to just hope it goes through

Well the issue is that I got really sick and wasnt able to ship out some items on time so the algo bot restricted my account until i show ID / bank statement.

That is what im thinking too. I think removing the bank and adding new one and changing details on the account might seem too suspicious to them.

Im curious, how do they verify the bank statement? Do they call the bank and have a way of seeing if that is actually my name on the bank statement / account somehow?

I'd say they would just look at quality and make sure info matches eb account - name etc - they won't call the bank...

Banks would not reveal any information about the account holder,but I have heard sometimes when you receive a personal check,you can call the bank or go to its branch and ask if there is enough money for you to deposit his check,NSF punishment is pretty bad,$35-$50 if it bounces.
When Ebay makes a micro deposit and withdraw,it can see the bank account information,is it so??

I was also questioning if they would submit my ID pics to some KYC verification software bc then changing it wouldn’t work.

well when I go into my eb account settings and go to bank linked it says my name right there, and the issue is the bank name has an extra letter or two added in the first and last name but my ID doesn’t. So I either remove that bank and attach new one with right name. It won’t let me edit bank name. It’s greyed out.

Yea then they can, I was just asking bc I was wondering if they maybe submit the docs to some KYC company. Then this won’t work at all.

IF YOU have to be creative, I'd go creative on the bank statement to match the ID .

I remember years ago I was jealous of your eBay Stealth success on this forum lol. greenbean was active. jeffweico was still alive, rangerschool was selling edited passport for ebay and paypal verification, sandyd was selling stealth accounts before she started scamming, and doughboykilla was seling eBay Stealth aco****s with the paypal included (he even would send you the phone he used to set the aco**** up.) good days

Minus the scamming, those were the good days with a bunch of other services offered included the vba's hah
