Activity: 0% Longevity: 22% | | Account suspended after succesful video verification Hey everyone,
I could really use some help.
I recently purchased an account from a company that handles legit transfers of amazon accounts (Ecom Stores). I purchased a seasoned store and let them handle the transfer. They claim to have handled thousands of transfers succesfully and do it by correlating the transfer of ownership with amazon directly. I spoke with the owner, it seems very legitimate. They showed amazon all our details (I used my friends Identity and an LLC opened under his name) and the account was transferred.
A Month later the account required a video verification. I had my friend do it and it was successful after providing a few more documents following the interview.
4 days after the successful verification amazon deactivated the account with this message.
Hello Seller,
“We appreciate your completion of the video interview verification. After reviewing the information from your interview, we decided to deactivate your seller account, following section 3 of the Amazon Services Business Solutions Agreement. You must continue to ship open orders and reply to customer inquiries to avoid further impact to your account. Funds won't be transferred to you but will stay in your account while we work with you to address this issue as per our "Funds Disbursement Eligibility Policy":
Why did this happen?
We've taken this measure as we believe your account or other related accounts operated by you may have been used for deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity.
What happens if I do not send the requested information?
If you don't provide this information within 3 business days, or if your verification isn't successful, we may not allow you to sell on Amazon.” To reactivate the account they required us to submit this information: --Upload Valid ID proof document that includes full name, date of birth, ID number, expiry date signature or the bearer and country of issuance or country of citizenship.
--Upload bank statement or credit cars statement issued in the last 180 days which includes full name of the individual or the business, residential or business address and bank information.
--Upload business registration documents which included full name, address, signature and mode of business.
--Upload invoices and receipts which included item descriptions, quantities, including the supplier’s name, phone number, address and website.
--If you are a brand owner, upload copy of brand registration certificate, and business license or personal identity card." We submitted everything. We have completely legit everything (nothing altered). All products were sourced from a large supplier that buys directly from brand manufacturers. They are well known in the industry. They even supplied me with their invoice. Our bank invoices show the purchase quantity from this supplier.
I appealed three times so far with this information. Each time I provided something new or highlighted important information in the documents. They have rejected all my appeals thus far.
Also amazon has disabled the call button but is still responding to emails. I emailed them twice asking for what exactly they are looking for. Both times they replied with different requests. These are their responses Response 1:
“This is name from Amazon’s Account Health Support.
I understand you need assistance with the document requirements for your account reactivation.
To reactivate your account you need to submit the information as follows:-
-- Payment information/Agreement/Contract with the Account transfer or Ownership transfer document.
-- Agreement or relationship between the previous company and account owner.
-- Bank or credit card statement. The document must include the following information: The full name of the individual or the business, residential, or business address. It must also include the information of the bank that issued the statement and the records related to the purchase of the ASIN under review.
-- Supply chain documents such as invoices and receipts that include the item's description, quantities, supplier’s name, supplier phone number, supplier address, and website. You may remove pricing information, but the rest of the document must be visible.
-- Proof of delivery, bill of lading, import and export documents, customs clearance documents and authorization letters from brands and licensed brand distributors are other examples of documents that may be requested.
-- Order confirmation, order shipping, or fulfillment update documents for all the orders placed for the ASIN in question and its quantities.
Note: The mentioned documents must be authentic, unaltered and sent only in PDF, JPG, PNG or GIF format.
-- ASIN: Example
-- Quantity: 48
-- ASIN: Example
-- Quantity: 96
-- ASIN: Example
-- Quantity: 96
We’re here to help” Response 2:
“This is name from Amazon’s Account Health Support.
I understand you need assistance with account reactivation.
Upon checking,I request you to please submit the folllwing documents :
--Upload Valid ID proof document that includes full name, date of birth, ID number, expiry date signature or the bearer and country of issuance or country of citizenship.
--If you are a brand owner, upload copy of brand registration certificate, and business license or personal identity card.” Both responses were requiring information that we have already submitted.
We decided to submit the appeal one more time and they rejected it again.
This brings me to where I am currently facing a new options when I go to submit an appeal. Option one: “Continue with prior submission” When I click this it is now allowing me to fill out a box explaining why I think my account was deactivated in error and then brings me to a page to submit more documents Option two: “I understand the policy and acknowledge the violation” I am nervous to click this one for obvious reasons Please let me know your thoughts. The company I purchases the account from is helping me deal with all of this and is standing by their promises. They are still in contact with the original account owner and he is also ready to provide any documents amazon requests.

Deactivated by section 3, that will be a nighmare.
Your point maybe Amazon suspect the transaction with previous account owner. if so, let them make a statement or contract with this transaction.
hopefully you get your account back.

the account is most likely toast , although the account is old amazon will regard it as new account for the purposes of verification so that it would be treated like anyone else
regarding documents upload , it is a game amazon play with sellers they do not want to have. they ask to upload the same documents over and over again until they give up. this is likely supposed to keep them away from the marketplace in the future and prevent them from opening new accounts
from my experience you have about a month to solve the problem , if it is not solved within this time (approx.) it will not be solved at all
check if there is a clause in the account transfer agreement that says what happens if amazon do not allow to use the account

Would it be worthwhile to contact an appeal service? This account has a lot of potential if I can get it back.

but the problem with amazon is that there are no guarantees they will let sell anybody , they suspend so many people so frequently that it can literally hit anyone
and those people suspended usually report the same story: not clear what is wrong , docs are requested and uploaded , every time amazon ask to upload the same again and again , after a while they either stop replying to messages or inform account is done for good

that is why my recommendation to you while the appeal is running: check the contract what it says for the case of inability to sell on this account , in case it gets restricted or suspended
and my recommendation for the future: do not buy amazon accounts but open yourself , find people you can trust whose details you could use and who would be ready to go through verification , for example friends and relatives
I personally would not spend even 1K on such an account , not to mention 15K
and the reason is always the same: amazon is like a minefield , you can die anytime. for example you get account transfer and started selling other items than it was selling in the past , in other categories , for other amounts etc. - this would be reason enough for amazon to kick you out

so keep in mind to explore legal action available to you against the account seller in case amazon do not reinstate you

It sounds like the original account owner is the problem.
what do you know about the original account owner?
Why is he giving up his AMZN store?
How did he set up his AMZN store?
Did he violate any AMZN rules?
Did he get his store from someone?

it is unlikely a problem with original owner
it is much more likely that amazon see this as new account application , I don't think I need to explain how they treat new sellers
and for the TO I can recommend if he insists on buying accounts intstead of opening them then make sure the account owner is a LTD company , then you do not transfer the account but the company and on amazon you go thrpugh verification as new company director and owner rather than new account owner

I’ve reviewed it before but couldn’t find anything regarding refunds. They mentioned each account comes with a 30 day warranty.
With my business model I need access to accounts that are ungated in specific brands. I’m willing to pay 15k for an account that otherwise would struggle to gain access to these brands

I think the company does not reveal the whole truth , apparently they did not guarantee that the account would be transferred and verified
verification is the most difficult thing on amazon , this is where many accounts fail

What a nightmare. My opinion on sec 3 deactivations means that your account is toast and they don't want you selling on there for whatever reason. If that call button re-appears, sometimes if you ask the right yes or no questions, the account health support reveals clues as to why they deactivated you.
This is my biggest fear when I consider buying/selling accounts. The process of a legitimate transfer of ownership could trigger so many red flags on the back-end. Even changing the tax ID number triggers re-verifications.

They did guarantee that but they can’t guarantee that the account will be in good health forever. My problem falls in a grey area since it’s months after the transfer but they are responsible for this.

Yes that is true but since everything they ask for is completely legitimate there has to be a way to regain access. I didn’t break any policies

I’m wondering now if the registered agent address could be an issue also. I used a registered agent that is less common than the ones most Amazon sellers use.
