I was selling for about 14 days. Yesterday i noticed a run on my store. A guy purchases 2 items from me. Next day tries to buy another item, i canceled before he could download. I messaged him if he would leave a review for the previous items i would give him the 3rd item for free. He never responded to my message, and decides to buy the item again the next day. Wild.
Another person-Bought an item twice, stuck in pending payment, then goes to my main store and purchases it at a premium. So now he in theory has bought one digital item 3 times. Like bro why? What is the dang rush?
He messages the new store, asking for me to cancel the order as he purchased it from another store...Being my other. I cancel his order.
I swear competition was doing a "bank run" on my store. I felt it, seen it coming. Etsy suspended my new store, i file an appeal, denied the appeal for "suspicious seller activity".
Images was altered, changed, any data etc completely different device, listings was re-written, different tags was used. I thought everything very in-depth prior to doing anything.
I believe opening a new store in a competitive niche, will be hard on anyone. With different tools out there to track competition, it is very easy to close someone down.
I am no victim , i play dirty too, just sucks that my backup just would not stick. I should of picked a different niche, just random bs to generate hey this user has had X amount of sales, then revert back to the heavy hitters. I think i did too many sales in a short time, for a new store that is not normal. I intentionally priced items to move quick. My mistake. I draw attention to myself and i guess the community wasn't having it.
-Main store still good.
-Out of backup ideas now LOL
