Vacation mode then suspended - Reinstated if I pay past due balance?
Hi friends.
Long story short, my shop was suspended in Feb 2024 after a handful of overdue orders/cases opened. The shop was initially put on vacation mode, but then suspended a day later after the card on file declined a refund.

This is Etsy’s Trust & Safety team. We’re reaching out because your shop was flagged by our internal systems for violating Etsy’s Seller Policy by falling below our seller standards for customer service.
Your shop has recently received a high volume of cases, in relation to its order volume, indicating there are situations and/or buyer concerns that require your attention. To help you manage your current orders without the pressure of new ones, our internal systems have temporarily placed your shop on pause via Vacation Mode. Please do not create new shops or attempt to continue receiving orders through this shop while it’s paused.
Before your shop is reviewed for reinstatement, you'll need to resolve any overdue orders, fulfill open orders, and take steps to resolve issues with your buyers.
| Fast forward to today, I reached out to Etsy support to explain my situation and to see if there is a possibility to reopen my shop. They replied with Quote:

I'm sorry to hear about your recent challenges. To restore your shop, you'll need to update your card on file and pay your overdue balance amounting to $xxx.
Once the payment is made, your account should be reinstated within 24 hours.
| Has anyone had their shop reopened after such a long time? Will they still need to review my shop after paying the fees?
Would appreciate some insight. Thanks.
