 Mismatch name for UK and Irish Bank account
Hi,
I have noticed that UK and Irish bank accounts verify the name match when you send a payment (especially for Irish accounts). I received an email from them stating that they will check the name match when issuing funds to someone.
As far as I know, the bank will still process the payment even if the name doesn't match, but it will display a message indicating whether the names are matched, not matched, or if it's impossible to verify (something along those lines).
Will this affect a new Amazon account? Specifically, will Amazon notice a name mismatch when the first payment is made to a new Amazon account, or even to an aged account?
