Primary postal address name change question

Hello All

Long time since last post, but a just need to check with those here if a change I am planning to make may create a problem – red flag to ebay or paypal.

I need to change my primary ‘Postal Address’ first and last name spelling, which means it would then be different from my ebay and paypal 'Registration Address' first and last name spelling.

For example:

• My current ebay/paypal registration & postal address are the same = Jackson Mackenzie
• My updated primary postal address only, is changed to my real spelling = Jacksen Makenzie

I plan to send my ebay purchases to a postal receiving service e.g., Mail Boxes Etc, and then collect from them. The sticking point is that when I collect my post they require ID and if the package and post, first and last name spelling don’t match my ID first and last name spelling exactly, they may not release my delivery to me.

The last concern is that the real spelling of my name was last used in an ebay account in my registration address, that was permanently suspended back in 2012. Could using my real name spelling for the postal address get linked way back to 2012?

Can anyone see this change causing a problem?

Do you mean changing the info on a current existing account? Could cause security issue requiring ID verification request if I'm understanding what you're doing correctly....sorry if I'm not

Yes, it is a current existing account, but the only thing that will be changed is the ‘delivery’ address name spelling, very slightly.

The first and last name spelling that I used to create the ebay and paypal account will not be changed.

On Ebay there are your primary address for account registration,your residential address,your address to receive Ebay goods,your address to receive Ebay mail,and an address to receive returns.your addresse to ship goods,which one are you referring to?

"Address to receive Ebay goods" that I have purchased.

Your address to receive Ebay goods is meant for your seller,so he can get Ebay seller protection if he can prove with tracking he delivered the goods to that address.
I doubt Ebay cares about your name,you can go into your account profile and see all the addresses/
The only time your name matters is signature confirmation,some seller may want you to sign,not your neighbor or cleaing lady?
