How selling Works on Germany Ebay

Hi

i do like to ask your experiences with selling on German ebay and how personally handle tax number requumient ,as it seems to be similar - but no identical to the Germany ebay system .

sell for limited period /around 2 mounths/, but after that ebay requires you add tax number in order continue selling.

What Im curious about is how peaople actually approach this practice:

-How long do you usually sell before stopping or adding a tax number/selling eu amount/ ?

-Do you belive ebay itself actively reports seller who wont provide a tax number , or does it mainly just block selling after a creation point ?

-In your opinion , how strictly is this enfroced in real life ?

Basically Im intested in how this really works in practice , no just what the official rules say - and how different sellers choose to handle the risk /or avoid it/.

if you are registered in the EU it is strictly enforced , without tax number you will not be able to continue selling as soon as you approach about 1.5K turnover or do more than 30 deals

plus there is an annual 10K intra EU selling limit , once you approach it you will be blocked from selling until you provide a VAT number

all details will be provided by ebay to your local tax authority every january for the previous year

Does providing random information work? Must it be 100% legit? Any experience?

random tax number maybe , random VAT number likely not because it is usually verified
