Recently lost my history sheet on violations. (These accounts are over 5 years old) Is there a way to find ALL of your VERO or violation history? I can only find the history up to a year.
Do these violations roll off? I've always assumed they are there forever.
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
There's no way I know of to check your full history aside from doing a search in your email account. Any violations will be documented there.
As for rolling off.. I think it's a bit of both. Violations most likely never "fall off" completely but the velocity of violations is definitely monitored.

Can't find history more than a year on the website - you will have to check your e-mail.
With the way that platforms are going, I would consider these violations permanent but with each passing year, maybe 20% reduction - so 5 years gone? Safe assumption
That will be an uphill battle. I guess I will search the email with a word search. The accounts are so old that the original stealth emails have died, if that tells you anything haha. I want to protect these accounts at all costs.
you can search in emails , there is no point though as old warnings are obsolete
the ebay system is very primitive , it does not care about what was more than 6-12 months ago
which is a good and bad thing. it is certainly bad because if you sell a lot and take a break for a year and relist you will be at risk of becoming a menace to society

Kind of the reason why I choose to keep all emails

Just reviewed one account with 17k emails. Worked like a charm!
I can also confirm, after reviewing the data, that there was evidence that the vero/counterfeit policy rolled off at about a year. The three-strikes rule applied within 12 consecutive months, I noticed.

If I recall, it took about 6mo for the violations to disappear and 3 mo of not selling to be able to sell again when you get that 7day suspension.
