Default Royal Mail and its useless Tracking...

Is anyone else noticing how terrible Royal Mails tracking updates has been since the turn of the year?

Its making being paid out on the "3 days after delivery" thing an absolute nightmare.....even after 1st Class Recorded tracking is automatically uploaded.

Is there anything to help being paid out quicker?

RM special, tracked 24, parcel force 24 are great.

I've stopped using DPD, ups etc because I prefer royal mail now.

If the only reason you are using Royal Mail 1st class recorded is for tracking purposes, then I would switch to their tracked 24 service, they aim to deliver next day and take a photo of the parcel being delivered.
I switched to this and not had issues, apart from the odd one lost.

Depends on what she is selling,Royal Mail first class may be the most economical tool for her.
Just like US sellers use USPS ground advantage,it is the cheapest way to send with $100 insurance and tracking included.

Hmm weren't you recommended not to refer ppl to the eb seller forum to ask questions? I think it's better to just keep discussions going and not directed elsewhere

It's terrible.

Their server updating the tracking is horrible.

Their workforce are slower, it's a mess.

Nothing you can do about it, it's out of your hands so eBay won't blame you if it arrives late, so long as you dispatched on time.

You can only wait for it to be marked as delivered, wait the 4 days and get paid out, nothing else unfortunately.

Don't even bother with Evri, x2 slower than RM.

Any other courier is not worth the money, too expensive.
