Issues Resolved but still showing limited?

My friends PayPal was limited, hes not had an email to say they recieved the documents and all issues have now been resolved. Yet his account is still limited? Hes going to ring them in the morning.

Does it take time to go through or what??

Yes they can take time to lift the limitations. Up to 2 weeks in some cases.

The best thing you can do is stay polite with them, both by email and when phoning, as you want them to lift the limitation.

Email and or phone to confirm that they have received the documentation you have provided to them and ask them when the limitation will be lifted.

In the meantime I would use another ebay and Paypal account to sell until this is resolved.

Remember there is no guarantee that they will even lift a limitation, but you need to find out either way so you can move on.

I never play their game and I never send them any documents. For me it is a matter of principle and I refuse to start doing this. But I dont complain about it, all I do is set up another ebay and Paypal stealth account and start again.

Oh and any outstanding ebay fees? well if they suspend me for a silly reason like "suspicious activity" then they can sing for their fees and in the words of Simon Cowell I will say "no"

I'm not so patient and gave them at least 72 hours which is their standard reply time and they didn't lift my temporary limit. After the phone calls and emails and standard replies I got nowhere. Once I got legal they put the 180 hold on after I submitted info.

So I stepped up the action by taking them to court.

Not sure how to handle the ebay fees though, they will still need to be paid.

it depends, how much do you owe ebay? Is the ebay account in your real details or stealth, and how do you usually make ebay payments?
