Default Listed my first item - worried about something.

I just listed my first item on ebay. It's a name branded high-risk item (headphones) and as soon as I finished the auction description I got a message.
It stated this:
It appears that you are listing a ------ item.

Please be sure your item is an authentic ------ product before listing it on eBay. eBay does not tolerate the listing of counterfeit or otherwise infringing items. These items are unlawful and violate eBay policies. If you cannot guarantee the authenticity of your item do not list it on eBay.

Click here for more information on eBay’s Authenticity Disclaimer policy.

The item is authentic, however I'm worried that it will get taken down for some idiotic reason. Am I just being paranoid? Do they do this with all high-risk items? Everything went smoothly except for that message.

Never seen a message like that before. Was that message at the top of the listing page before you submitted it? How many days was the auction for?

You have nothing to worry about. I had this happen to me when I sold a roll of stamps (sealed). It's just a warning probably if they find out it is ⊗⊗⊗⊗ then that will probably be your 1 strike and you're out.

Hmm never happened to you? See that's what worries me. Do you sell high-risk or VERO items? I'm hoping it's just a warning that everyone receives when posting auctions. I got the message right after the page where you write in the description of the product. When I clicked "next" the flag/warning popped up. The auction went up fine though.

Thanks oge that gives some more reassurance.

Well at least your sarcasm didn't fail . Haha that being said surprisingly no these particular headphones aren't ⊗⊗⊗⊗. I'm no angel though, I'm not sure if I should say this, but other people have admitted it so here goes. I do plan on selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ at some point. The profits are just too good to pass up and the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ I plan to sell are not extraordinarily terrible in quality.

Plus I'm pretty sure people know whether or not they are buying authentic products or not. If you look for RayBan sunglasses on eBay right now they all claim to be authentic, however authentic RayBans don't sell for >$50 and nearly 90% of all the auctions that end are in that price range.

There are so many more examples out there of people selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ non-VERO items that people know are ⊗⊗⊗⊗ and are willing to buy anyways. Why not take some of the cake too in my opinion.
