When to open a new ebay shop?

Hi all

so im letting my new ebay account mature (10 days in) and i am eager to start listing.

I am gonna list the odd video game over the next 10 days, but was wondering when it will be best to open a store and get it filled with the products i sell (custom clothing)

any advice would be great

Would try to get your feedback up to 50. I know a lot of people say that getting it up to 10 is okay, but I find that sales increase depending on your star. Invest some money on getting your feedback up, don't buy 99p items as this can lead to a suspension. By things you need and sell want you don't want.

As long as the items you are selling in the shop aren't vero you will only have to worry about competitors reporting you to eBay, so research your market and see who your up against. If theres only a handful of people doing it, take things start at the beginning.

Thanks for that, so it looks like its gonna take a good while before i can start a shop up again

sometimes Vero used to pull items in the past, but it seems that my competitors that sell similar items never get veroed or suspended. very odd

Exactly the same happens with me... I think they tip them off or something.

but have you noticed that when you tip them off that nothing ever happens!!

Your 'face' does not fit. It's not personal, but the terrible way ebay operates. Your account does not count or matter to ebay too much.
When you've had an account running for months, your standing should improve.
In the mean time. sell well, give great customer service and be the professional.
