Ebay T&S called to let me know item not recieved

This is a first for me. Ebay called on one of my new accounts on behalf of a customer that filed an item not received. Nefer got an email form the buyer and they just filed the dispute yesterday. It was an overseas package, so no tracking but I told them I would refund or send a replacement. Which ever the buyer preferred.

Anyone else ever get a call like that?
