 Bank Accounts
Just wondered whether people are opening extra accounts at banks where they already have a basic account? I opened a Santander basic account, and some old boot in the branch said I can't have any more on this type of account!.
I have a Natwest account which is a full current account with Visa card, and whenever I need extra accounts there I just phone up and in less than 5 minutes I have a new account number.
Want to open some more accounts at Santander(even though they are the worst bank that ever existed), but to do it I don't want to upgrade my account to a current account, because I want to keep my credit score ok.
Any other experiences?
