Buyer bought an Item on ebay in August 2010. Beauty product for $70. Contacted just now. It has been 5 month. Item does not work anymore. Buyer claims that item is f**k and i`m not an authorized dealer. Contacted ebay and ebay gave instructions to report to Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) | Home

Bought from stealth account with address I do not have access to.

Is there something I should worry about? Will they start investigation for $70.00 item?

Do you have any experience with "www.ic3.gov"?

FFS, it's a FEDERAL agency. Serious is so not the word.
Real tough and give trips to holiday camps in various sates if they get a prosecution. They do prosecute.

Having no access to a stealth excuse is no out of jail free card.
Should that 'beauty item' have come from a certain company in a certain country, then you lose. If there are a number of complaints about the item in question (& there have been several investigations done in the past 9 months) then they will check as many sellers they can.
