Default Uk Parcel Delivery - Has anyone used Interparcel?

Hi

Just a quickie, I have just paid for and booked a parcel collection / delivery to Australia using interparcel, their rates were very cheap and you can pay by Paypal, has anyone ever used them before and if so what is your experience of them? I am only asking this because after paying for their service I went and looked up some reviews about them, and most were bad, saying they dont collect when they are supposed to and that then you have to phone a premium rate customer helpline!

Yikes!

Johnny

I use them, great service in the uk if you opt for the ups or tnt service.

Internationally by fed ex is another good service from them.

Terrible if you use hermes or sometime hdnl.

Customer service team are excellent, you can resolve any issues promptly via email with them.

Another one to look at is parcel2go.

When your volumes increase contact interparcel to discuss better rates.

Hi folks!

thanks for the info Lucrative, I waited for the DHL courier service I had booked through Interparcel between 12-2pm, and I am delighted to say that the courier van / guy turned up as promised at 1.19pm. This is a great improvement on previous occasions when I have had to wait from 9am to 6 pm for the courier to arrive, which has meant I'd had to stay at home all day until the courier turned up, or risk missing the collection and forfeiting an expensive delivery. I have used Parcel2go as well in the past and they are also a good service but for this current parcel delivery I have just done to Australia the price they quoted me for the same package was £18 more expensive than Interparcel for exactly the same DHL service! Thats quite a difference! So I am delighted with the results, the delivery is now in DHL's hands so Interparcel did their job, I'll just have to see how long it now takes and if the buyer is happy with the condition of the parcel when he receives it. Also Lucrative, you mentioned Hermes, well for a few months last year I worked for Hermes at their new head office in Leeds, and I can tell you that personally I would never use them, they use a crackpot team of so called local delivery drivers who use their own cars, they mostly deliver for retail companies like Next Directory / Grattan catalogue etc and I know they were desperate to get a slice of the eBay action, but their prices are not the cheapest and I know personally their service is very shoddy, and been a Dewsbury born lad I can tell you I really do know what shoddy is.

kind regards

Johnny

Default hi, interparcel

hi, I've used interparcel quite a few times and found them to be reliable and price competitive. if you sign up to an account with them I think you get some discount too.

they are certainly better than fast lane (wedelivertheworld.com)

Do you have to put in the weights and postcode of every parcel on their website first? Then they come and collect....Or do you just arrange a collection without having to specify each weight/postcode etc...

Hi

Stickmade, as with most parcel delivery companies you have to put the size / weight in as this dictates the cost of your delivery.

Interparcel does not admit mistakes and make no effort to correct mistakes either.

My parcel has never been delivered but it was instead returned. They claim that I have refused the parcel. Why on earth would I order something, pay for the delivery and then refuse it?

They probably went to the wrong address and got refused.

Their customer service people are 100% unhelpful. They simply refuse to accept my explanation thereby calling me a liar.

Please, please do not use them. I found that other companies are cheaper anyway.

^^ I had same issue as scott but with ups, so dropped them, they are good for corporate accounts, but personal they treat you like dirt re compensation....

myhermes are cheapest, they have always delivered correctly - they do bash your parcel about and their compensation system is mean....but going for cheaper cuts costs at least...

best for compensation is parcelforce, but you have to persevere, as they try and fob you
off....
