Good day, may i ask, eBay Store. Is it good to have it or not?


Im quite a newbie when comes to selling at ebay. Although i did sell stuff in ebay couple years ago. But ebay suspend me infinitely, and i stop selling in ebay. Thanks to the Stealth Book, i able to sell again. I want to be successful as you guys in ebay using the stealth account but i am very lost and i need advice from pros. I thinking of open an ebay store, WILL it increase my sales and profit? If not, any valuable suggestion to guide me? I really need help as i ran out of idea. Hope anyone can help me with it. I've had a store for about 4 days, only sold items on the first day plus one item today. I've uploaded a ton of items, paid 20 cents per listing to have it only last about 30 days. I won't use stock photos, those seem to get ignored on Ebay
It's a ton of work to take the pictures. Some listings go until canceled. Some insertion fees are horrendous! Clothing and sports charged me a WHOLE dollar insertion fees. So far it seems like a rip
Ebays fees are so high compared to Amazon that generally I wait for free insertion fees. Even then often I pay more. Maybe talk to someone whose Store is established.

The only good I saw out of it was you are allowed more pictures. Otherwise you still pay the .35 cents to feature it in the gallery.

Even the fees for fixed prices (which is the draw because you can set it for 30 days or good until sold) are a few percentage higher than the auctions. They don't even lower those fees

So far I've lost money... and am considering just moving it all over to Amazon if I don't sell more in the next 3 weeks

Sound like you in the same situation with me, i believe taking the first step of everything is always not easy, most important thing is to learn where is your mistake. Is it wise to sell cheap stuff like less then a dollar in ebay with new stealth account? Once you list up to ten item and you can list anymore. Any advice from the pros? We need advice, hope anyone can share with us. Thanks

My second Ebay account is Stealth but it is not limited to 10 items. It is always limited to 100 free insertion fees though sometimes I pay

I don't list real cheap items, they are generally at least $20 to as much as $75

I keep each listing under $95 to avoid holds

Not sure why, maybe it just squeeked by not being limited.

I've verified it and all seems fine except a few echeck holds
