If you are selling DVD box sets from China, my guess is that the buyer is right. Many times those discs do not work correctly, even though they look brand new and are factory sealed.
The quality of counterfeits varies widely. There is a TON of low quality garbage out there.
If it were me, I would refund the buyer and ask for the set back. I would even pay the return shipping. You may or may not lose the account over this. Amazon has a zero tolerance policy for ⊗⊗⊗⊗. And Amazon knows that complaints about brand new DVD's being scratched up and/or not working USUALLY means the seller is dealing in counterfeit merchandise.
Those cheap DVD's have a failure rate that no movie studio would tolerate.
