Default Using Moneybookers to Collect eBay Buyer Payment

Has anyone been using only Moneybookers to collect eBay buyer payment? I am sick of being limited by PayPal and thinking of using Moneybookers. How do the buyers react about having to pay with Moneybookers instead of PayPal.

Haven't used it in awhile, but plan on getting back to this soon, my experience in the past is that sales for me decreased 10 to 15% using MB, but all payments went through successfully without any problems, you just have to wait a month per transaction to receive your funds.

Hi, I used Moneybookers for awhile and the sales were still ok. The problem I had was that since I was new, they held the funds for 40 days...another ebay account killer...

Idk why its like this, maybe its ebay rules, because they know if sellers could get their money asap using alternatives such as MB, pp would lose lots of business. I believe this is the reason why you have to wait so long. When you think about it, all of ebays alternatives have some sort of catch to them:

MB ( have to wait 40 days)

Propay (must be a powerseller)

Paymate (goes through credit check, and some credit cards don't go through even when it has money on the cards)

40 days hold are only for new account or any accounts and stay forever?

It all depends on your feedback, but as time goes on, you can call and request for MB to lower the amount of days they hold your money.

Thanks for your replies, looks like eBay does not want to loose all the PayPal receive fees and so makes it difficult for any other payment method to work.
