Hello xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx,

One of the benefits of using PayPal is that we make every effort to alert
you to potentially problematic transactions. Our goal is to help you make
sound business decisions.

From time to time, we request additional information about PayPal payments.
This is a security measure meant to protect you from problem transactions.

We would like to learn more about this transaction. Please log in to your
PayPal account and provide some information.

You are not able to refund buyer until investigation hasn't been completed, so you can refund buyer with your own funds.

Your credit score may be affected while your recent transactions are being revised.

In real life that is bad paypal.

What did they say you should give them to take the limit away?

Was the $2500.00 marked as "gift" and not for merchandise? If so, they will shut you down for trying to accept money without paying them their fees. This happened to a friend of mine and his account was doomed after that.

They say they will investigate it, but it doesn't look good. I hope yours works out better.
Good Luck!!

1. If you have to refund customers do it quickly. Any money left that is yours will be left in the account for 180 days which is the same as 6 months. In 6 months you will get a paypal email saying you can withdraw your funds to a checking/savings account. Yes, they will let you take out your money in 6 months, but paypal will close that account forever!

2. If all that money is yourse and you really want it quick get a lawyer and he/her should be able to get it in less time. How do I know? People have done it. Its called a lawsuit. Hopefully paypal will get enough of lawsuits and change there stupid policies soon.

3. Move on in life and learn that paypal is not your friend or my friend or nobodys friend.

Good-Luck!

I just don't understand. If you're fully verified, why can't you not lift the limit? Why was it even limited in the first place?

Have your customers fill disputes over the payments. That's the only way to refund them while your account is limited.

Well he said that he can't do that so that's his only option I think.
