Just a few questions...is it safe to link ebay to paypal...also, is it safe to register as a business seller...just would like to know before I take the plunge...TIA

Course they are safe.Could you give a bit more information as to what your doing? Have you a stealth account etc?

All of my accounts are business seller accounts and each one is linked to a Paypal account. Some on the forum would disagree but - it works for me.

I am setting up in my own name...and basically will just be selling second hand clothing...I have thought about buying silver charms from china to sell...but not just yet, want to see how it all goes...thanks for replying

Not at all but it matters to eBay/PayPal that the supplier looks legit.

Do you think most suppliers from china, would supply you with an invoice if one was asked for...TIA

Almost certainly, just ask them before you buy anything. It is more important to be sure that the item is genuine and they are reliable.

You are supposed to tell hmrc as soon as your a business = First sale however with it been online you could getaway with up to 3-4 months sales if you say you was testing the water to see if you had a viable business.


China seller will give you what ever you want.

i get a p.i and sales invoice, the sales is on the package for cuctoms (reduced amount) but i submit the p.i to the tax guy.

we supply invoices to all our customers, china and hk invoices from genuine companies are valid all over the world and can be used for accounting purposes..
