Default Card not linking gift to lift withdrawl limits

Confirmed the account with a $25 visa gift card (one where you can register name and billing address). Tried to lift the $500 monthly withdrawal limit but in the link page there is no statement of the $1.95 deposit with the code. Clicking continue only redirects to the summary of the account. Do these cards work?

Vanilla one right? Should work - have you looked online at your statement account?

Yes? It's issued by Metabank. I've checked and nothing is listed on the online billing.

Here is the screen I get below. Nothing about the $1.95 charge is mentioned and clicking 'continue' only redirects to the account summary page.

Yes. Added and shows confirmed address. Maybe cards from grocery stores don't work?

Tried making a purchase with the account yet with the credit card? If it showing up and confirmed it should work.

I can send money with the card with no problems. The card is shown confirmed. I just can't get the $1.95 charge so that I can link it to lift the $500 monthly withdrawal limit.

Can Paypal tell if a Visa card is a vanilla gift card? I've used 2 of these on 2 different accounts and they both confirmed.

Western Union Visa gift cards will work as well.

Were you able to link the cards to get the $1.95 charge and get the 4 digit expuse code?
