Default Alert- too many items listed in category...

I sold my first item on a stealth account and tried to relist and got:

"Alert
Unfortunately, you won't be able to complete this listing at this time because you’ve reached the limit for the number of items you can list in this category. You may, however, still be able to list other types of items in other categories. You'll be able to list more items in this specific category in 30 days."

WTF--- I only listed 1 item! So apparently now I have to wait 30 days to sell this item on this account again?

On another account I could sell 3 of these a week... I wonder if its because it is new, or doesnt have feedback, or that I didnt wait 30 days to list...???

O well, sigh, learning

you can't find a fixed answer to this because you are going stealth so you are just hoping that things go in the way you like but this doesn't work all the time!

Funny I just read in another thread (forget where!) where people were trying to work out the rules/game behind paypal lifting limits, that it was not necessarily based, but linked, to being 30 days from day first item was sold, i.e. NOT 30 days from acct opening date, date you washed your hair, etc, etc. So it seems from your bizarre experience that there might be something in this, as that poster also referred to listing one item, waiting 30 days, then going ahead with all the other things they needed to list/do re: pp and eb.
