Default Second chance offer equals suspension

I sell software on eBay. I know this is a highly dangerous category but I can sell my items fine. It's when I try to offer second chance offers I immediately get suspended on new accounts. Does this happen to anyone else?

Very weird. Please elaborate so we can help. What suspension code do you get? What sort of software are you selling? Legit or counterfeit?

I strongly doubt that the software sold are legitimate.

Anyways, I've never had or heard any similar issues. Were you trying to go over your selling limit by using Best Offer?

Yeah if you did make it or buy expensive rights to it then stop selling it.

I'm sure the software did it, not the second chance offers.

Well that happened to me before and i think Ebay is "thinking" that sellers (being new accounts) are trying to sell the same item several times to different bidders....Some kind of prevention on new sellers maybe...Thatīs the only thing i can think to justify their action...

If it keeps happening why do you keep doing it?

@GTran - "money is the root of all evil" logically =) - what a question ha =P

And no, the second chance is not doing you in - it USUALLY has to do with what you're selling. Software is high risk period.

That doesn't make sense LJ - If accounts keep getting shut down you cannot be making lots of $

pffft, SEARCH facility implemented would have given some insight too.

http://www.aspkin.com/forums/subscri...uspension.html

Where an item is a potential high risk ( by any definition you like), where an account may not be of suitable quality to 'take' a reaction from the bots, then the outcome is suspension.
2nd chance offers, software make a poor combination. It's ebay being tough.
