Clarification on Walmart Moneycard

The one I bought is Master card and Green dot branded. It is a re-loadable one if I register my SSN.


My question is this

1. Is GE Moneybank legally able to share my SSN with Ebay or Pay pal?
2. We can still use this card as a bank account on pay pal right?

The SSN sharing is the only Weakness I see in my planned stealth mission.

If I were you I'd stick with using bank accounts you physically sign up for, when using paypal, and stay far away from the prepaid cards.

As far as your first question goes, I'll let someone more experienced answer that for you.

No GE Moneybank can not share your SSN # with anybody unless they are served with a court subpoena.

But last I heard people were having issues using those "bank accounts" associated with those cards from Walmart. Paypal was not accepting them for a bank account. They know it is from a pre-paid card based on the routing number.

Issues noted have been money coming in under diff names as well as some occasional money incoming "limit" that will flag an account.
