Default Anyone survive the "Set credit check address" review?

Anyone get the "set credit check address" request lately?

Thinking this might be a soft pull to check address for the IRS but maybe not.

Anyone survive this or did you get axed once they checked this?

Finding it very odd that I got two of these this weekend on two different accounts.

Never got these messages before.

Yes this was pp. ( I am just getting started on Amazon )

It is telling me that I have xx days to give them the ok to do a credit check to verify address and SSN.

I had never seen this either until now.

Unknown, so you have seen this message and it just went away?

The account is NOT limited which is odd, it tells me I can do everything but close the account and I have withdrawn money every day since this came in with no problems.

Thinking if they were going to limit the account it would have been done.

Correct.

Nothing ever got limited. I kept acting normal with sales and withdrawals. After 3-5 days, it just disappeared. It was a real account, not ste.alth.

Not sure why the IRS or ebay even cares about what address matches your info for a credit check. Addresses change all the time. In malls they change when leases are up. If they check that they you get suspended if its not up dated with the IRS? Must be something else.

It is the only time I have ever seen it on any account since '98 and will never know what triggered it.

In most cases legit people will have a matching address on their credit file is why.

Even if you move it does not take long for a credit agency to pick up on your new address and add it to your report. The old address stay on your report and if they see a banned address the account is gone.

IRS has pp intimidated into making sure everything matches so the 1099 gets sent to the correct name and address.

I can find a ton of info on a credit report myself and having looked at hundreds of peoples credit reports I can find all kinds of info, trends etc from it.

Lots of reasons pp and eb want to look at credit. Have you read the many post here that people got banned for having bad credit? I was reading that pp will shut you down if your FICO score is below 550.
