I have a question about the 1st statments

If I have different user accounts for all Ebay accounts, in case my computer exposes to virus and I need to format it, will IP still be the same?

I run some other programs so I don't use anti virus and a firewall because they make my computer slow.
Back to my question. If all users are deleted, how can I get them back with the same IPs?
Let's say Admin has IP A, User 1 has IP 1 and User 2 has IP 2.
After formatting, it asks me to create a new name for Admin, and create new Users.
Now, if I create User 1 and User 2, how can the computer recognize that new User 1&2 are the same as old User 1&2 and remain the same IPs?

Same IPs can only be kept by keeping track of what IPs you were using before.

How did you control that ?

No matter what you call the computer it will have the same i.p every user account would have the same i.p unless your on Dial up or dongal, then you are not keeping the same one's anyway.
if you connect a different laptop or have two connected they will both have the same public I.P

Are you sure you understand what your dealing with ? from the sounds of it you have some confusion going on.

There are really no "automatic" way to do it, you need to do it manually every time.

I re-read the book and now I think I understand what you said better.
Let's say I am going to create 2 new user accounts. Once I change IP, IP of these 2 accounts will change and share the same IP, that means ALL users always have the same IP.
The book asks me to change to new IP from the old IP (the suspended ones), but not asks me to change IP between those 2 new accounts.
Am I understand correctly?

ip is your internet connection - if its not a dongle connection - all the computers/laptops in your house will share the same ip when surfing at the same time - no matter which windows user account they are in.

Change the ip each time on each user account before logging into eb or pp.
For example: User acc 1: ip 1, user acc 2: ip 2: user acc 3: ip 3

these ips's need to be kept track of in a spreadsheet - try your best not to mix ip's within a month.

You do not need to try to keep getting the same ip for each account - this is not really possible as your isp (INTERNET PROVIDER) cycles or shares ip's throughout your area - so, the ip you are using right now could be assigned to someone 2 streets away or even next door tomorrow (providing you have either reset your ip or turned of your router for a significant length of time).

To be honest if you are not pc literate you may benefit greatly by investing in a pay as you go internet dongle - this ensures that 99.999% of the time you will have a Fresh IP.

You need to read more before openeing an account.

Thanks a lot for you information. May I just ask you and other guys a question? How often do you log in ONE Ebay account a day?
If you have 10 accounts and log in 10 times/day for each account, I can't believe that you have to change IP 100 times/day. Or do you have another way to manage this?
(I know that when log in the same Ebay account, I don't have to change IP, but I always go back and forward: log in account 1, then another account, then come back the 1st one, so on)

every time you log into a 'windows user account' you should not be using the same ip address you have used on another account. so say you have 100 ebay accounts. that means you will have 100 windows user accounts. each time you log into a new windows user account you will need to make sure the ip you are using has not been used before on another account. i write all my ip's down and check each time just to make sure.

but i just like to make sure i will never ever be linked. some people do not write them down, but just make sure there ip changes each time. i guess its just how you wish to run your own accounts.

the best way to do it is use a dongle and keep track of i.p's because you can not control them like you describe.

enter user account one, connect dongle go to i.p burger and log the i.p in a text file, before you change user account disconnect the dongle, go in to user account two, connect the dongle goto Burger and log the i.p in a text file, same for account 3, 4, 5 and so on, make sure you do not mix the i.PS on user accounts.

i used to have two text files on each desktop, one with the i.p's for the user account i was using and one for the other accounts to make sure i didn't mix them.

it take a minuet to check them, if you do get a used i.p from another user account just disconnect the dongle reconnect and check with i.p burger.

Yes thats correct, if you see one on i.p burger in your list of already used i.ps then don't use it.
