HELP! genuine debit card declined by paypal

HI Ive opened a business account straight away.. but now it wont let me go past the paypal visa debit part for paying ebay fees... I have a genuine visa debit card which were fine with using but it says declined ????

how do I get round this thanks as Im now just stuck on this page when I log into ebay

probably to do with avs

I take it the card address and the paypal registered address, or at least postcode do not match?

that is why vcc are handy

well paypal had already auto filled in the address to my unit address on ebay?

so I changed it to the card address and it still dont work so shall I set up a VCC will this sort the problem anything else detail wise I need to know

vcc address can be changed.

yes they auto-fill it as they expect the addresses to match.....what worries me is you say you changed the address for the card on paypal to the card address? so is that a banned address?

what was the error message you got when the debit card was declined

for credit card and debit cards,name and definitely address do need to match

if they do not match thn they wont accept it

hi it was one saying the bank have declined it please contact the bank not paypal ? shall I just make a VCC which is the easiest/best option thanks

well hes moved house about 6 days ago but has told the bank straight away? are we being to quick?

shall I do the VCC, as it wont let us progress without doing this

thats probably the problem to be honest, it take some time for the address to go through the system.

can be a couple of Weeks, is it a new card with a new account or did you already use it ? some account need to have money put in it first to kind of activate it.

If the card matches the address and new on the pp then i would try and resolve it and add it because it will make the account more solid than with a vcc or use a vcc and try and add it in another couple of weeks.
