if you were to receive £1,000 fromn a item from a new ebay acc into your paypal will your paypal become limited

To reply to your question yes there is more than a good chance.

At the least I would try with a fully verified and confirmed paypal using an ebay account with feedback of 40 or higher.

Most definitely.
I have found any quantity received above £50 a couple of times gets it flagged.
Its such BS!

Pretty much for sure, guess e/b would be having a pretty close look at your account to listing something of that value straight away - HUGE RED FLAG

So how many people have actually tried it or is it just guess work.

i have and do list things that cost over a grand from new accounts, i have had first sales of over a grand on accounts.

i would say it depends on how High risk the item is and what category its going in.

That's very true TizWoz - last year we listed an egg grading machine on a new account and it sold for over 2K. We had no problems at all and account is still good. We only took the deposit on PP though. The rest was cash
