Mutiple bank accounts in one bank

Is it possible to have multiple bank accounts in just one bank, say chase?

Define multiple. How many are you considering?

Judiciously chosen you may be able to get many accounts.

Make the accounts different types. Say, if you want to open tons at Chase, also open a investment account with them. Banks love to see that customers have money in their bank branches.

I would also take out a small loan of say, a $1k, or some amount you can pay off really fast. They love to see that customers are making them money and they will let you get away with having tons of accounts. Rinse and repeat with the banks that accept mismatched deposits.

No. You will be arrested immediately on sight for saying the words "open new account" when the agent sees you already have one.

Common sense is your friend. It will solve all of your problems for you, including how many accounts you should have at a bank.

Some people over do it and get accounts closed.

Open a small amount of them at several banks.

Double check and make sure that bank accepts mismatched names etc which many have posted here on the forum.
