Default Paypal Bank Transfers..is there some banks that are faster?

So obviously alot of you know I use fiverr..takes 14 days to clear the funds..once i done that i transfer em to paypal...then my bank.

I got 5 accounts with halifax and 3 with HSBC. right now am maxing out my halifax stealth till i get to the 1900 limit...then going to go over to my hsbc stealth am letting age and just use for ebay transactions.

I read alot of stuff on the forums..obviously I see paypal in the uk are doing all this 'faster payment stuff'..but ive seen no effect/change.

I wondered because am transferring to halifax even when it says complete for a bank transfer on paypal..am often not seeing the funds till 2-3 days later than the date listed on paypal..is this just halifax bank? or is it the case..that some banks instantly credit paypal?

i read some guy said when his bank transfer with barclays completed on pp..he had the funds instantly in his account..if this is the case who are the banks that the pp transfers go over the fastest with?

I dont know of any banks that instantly credits you after you initiate a paypal transfer. Most banks takes 2-5 days.

Are you checking what time of the day you do your transfers?

Getting the funds into your bank depends on that.

I prefer RBS & Natwest for prompt moola delivery.

However I only instigate transfers at certain times and days of the week

I apologize for my ignorance but why the transfer to PP then to the bank account ??? Why not by pass PP & do a direct transfer to your bank account ??? What is the thinking behind your current banking sending/receiving arrangement above ???

Some banks use different payment arrangements - BACS/CHAPS/FasterPayments/TT etc etc, aside from the EU SEPA faster payment regulations from 2012.

I would speak to the bank in question & ask about setting up a faster payment arrangement &/or your options in lieu of setting this process up.

I have 5 Barclays Basic accounts (the ones with no credit check/score) and transfers have all been completed in just 1 day; I did a transfer on Wednesday night for example (so it wouldn't have started until the next day) and it went into my bank account on Friday.

Every other bank before this took some days; Natwest used to take 3 days at least for me, and so did Halifax, Nationwide and Santander (which I will never use again due to their service... but that is another story). But Barclays has been virtually instant.

I only knew of fiverr existence but nothing beyond that, I appreciate now the reason of your issue.

I would most certainly take an hour or so out of your busy day & pop down to your local high street bank branch & speak to them about this as well possibly approaching other high street banks.

You will find your answer in that hour.
