I have an usa personl bank account, which was registered in my main paypal, recently, that paypal has been closed for 180 days, it is hard for foreigners to get an usa bank accounts, i wonder if i can have my bank to open a new checking account with diffeferent account number for me? and i guess can i change the account name?? if the checking number is changed, how about the account holder name? if the name is not matching, i think paypal will flag my accounts when i try to withdraw funds to bank accounts with different name, in a summary,

1. is it possible for my usa bank account to open a new checking account with different bank account number? any trick if i ask them to do so for me?

2. how to resolve the name matching issue? (paypal account name and bank account name must be the same)

You can ask them to do this for you. They do this if there have been unauthorized purchases on your account. Call them.

You probably can't change the account name; and no Paypal does not verify the name so you can use any name you want.

There are also international bank accounts, HSBC I think it's called that works with Paypal.
