I doubt it.
But why say bad things about the company if it's not necessary?

Could get the listing pulled.

Why bring attention to yourself just because paypal is a pain.

Better to be professional

That's not really negative about PayPal themselves, as they didn't phish you. But I still would recommend against it. You can simply say that you don't use PayPal; I don't think an explanation is necessary. Just my two cents.

Then that will CAN your listing & possibly the account .

ebay take a dim view to such 'allegations'.

Come on OP - If I had a site that you were slagging I would ban you so why wouldn't EB & PP?

Think about it

Not to mention the amount of less bidding you will get.
It will plummet if you dont use paypal.

Think about it...

If I don't want people to use PayPal in my listing then I just make the auction collection only and cash on collection. Although I cannot remove the PayPal option, I just say that cash on collection is "preferred" in the listing. I haven't had anyone try to pay with PayPal so far.

And since I am in the middle of London, I still get plenty of bids... since it is the most populated part of the country, I still have a huge pool of buyers. And even if they are far away, I have even had people 250 miles away come down to collect. But I suppose that it is worth it for them since it is for a high-value joblot.

eBay has policies about listing that you can't say PP is not accepted - you can simply tick off the option to avoid payment via PP if you have other methods available. While I am sure a few listings would survive, you do open yourself to a world of hurt by eB if you are reported/discovered...

I was never able to remove the PayPal option. Is this UK-specific?

And by the way, they won't even let you directly state no PayPal; you get a warning stating that it is against their policy. Soy you have to be indirect about it.
