 One-time payment for eBay fees forces me to create a PP account
I've been using my real CCs to pay eBay fees since I remember. I avoid using PP account to do this for obvious reasons. Sometimes I had to change a CC, because there seemed to be some sort of sending limit for every one of them (which was about $600 in my currency), but since a couple of months I can use the same one with no restrictions.
This month I have a problem, because once I'm redirected to PP page, where I can pay the fees, I see two options: I can either log in to my PP account or CREATE a new one and fill the blanks with a CC info. It really surprised me, because this is something new. In previous months I could use the second option and pay with my CC without creating or using any PP account.
Does anyone know why this has changed? Has anyone else noticed it, is it global or am I the lucky one? I must admit I don't like this, because it seems from now on I can only pay with a bank transfer, because there are no further methods available in my country.
