I am using UK bank account paypal today i login to my account and it says that enter tax ID number
What is this and how to verify that.

They shouldn't be asking this for a UK PayPal. Are you sure that you don't mean US?

There is no requirement to provide any tax related information to either e/b or p/p in the UK and they have no legal right to ask for it
