Banned from selling, can I have an Associates Account?

In 2010 I was banned from amazon selling, now I want to open an Amazon Associates Account. I'm wondering since I was banned from selling am I also banned from being an Associate?

No, I just got my Amazon seller account suspended Nov 2012 and as of today my Amazon Associates, Amazon Payments (for a separate website) and my KDP (Kindle Publishing) are still up and going strong.

Just an update on this,

My Amazon seller account was suspended in Nov 2012

as of today April 2014, My Amazon Associates, Kindle Publisher and Amazon Checkout are all still in good standing with all the info same as the suspended
Amazon seller account.

So they don't kill your other Amazon services just because you get a seller suspension
