Default Accidentally Logged in to another selling account, will i get banned?

so i have 3 accounts running for about 3 years strong, with different ip's and different mac addresses.

suddenly a new employee accidentally logged in from account#1's computer

using account#2's credentials.

will both accounts get banned? this happened about 1 week ago.

Not sure... Have you gotten an email from Amzn about it yet? I would have said yes, but maybe only once no?

Not sure, no expert in that area. Keep us posted.

I would highly assume so, but I could be wrong as some people have done this with ebay and did not have any issues. Amazon has a pretty strong security/linking system and I would imagine it would link you, but if you didnt do a whole lot while logged in, than you might have a chance.

i would imagine that they only really look into things like that when

its a new account being monitored or

something happens like a to z or negative feedback

i think if the accounts have no real issues then amazon wont be scrutinising it

exactly

if they were going to ban you they would have done it (usually) within 2 hours or less ... and at the MOST within 24 hours

This is not true. This creates a link but does not necessarily mean automatic suspension by a bot. Once it comes under manual review it will then be suspended but that could be a year later.

One time mistake login is unlikely to do much - what counts is NOT repeating said action.

99.99% of 100.00% you will be banned in the future if they have someone review.

you have been selling the same stuff as the old account, but even if you have that info different. They have put a bug on you that cant leave. Amazon actually links the accounts now.

You will be fine, but for absolute safely I would delete the browser on the PC, remove all saved passwords from the keychain etc and then reinstall. Or easier just install a new browser like 'Opera' and run the account with that.

I did the same thing and about 6 months later i got an email (which rather politely) told me that it was against amazon rules to have two accounts. I played stupid and told them it was another family member who was selling and of course i was very apologetic.

They said i had to delete one of my accounts and move inventory to the main account. it was slightly annoying but better than losing both accounts. So at the very worst you will lose one account but very very good chance of saving one of them.

best of a bad situation I'm afraid - it was a tough lesson for me

you should be fine if you haven't been banned yet. i did this a couple of times and nothing happened to the accounts.

Just don't make a habit of it as you will be tracked or as the other guys said a manual review will probably cause the account to get suspended.

I accidentally did it twice two days in a row. Was in a cold sweat for weeks and nothing happened, so you may be ok.

I accidently logged in 6 months ago same ip but different user account, cookies etc. no suspension

Last week (two seperate accounts from above reference) accidentally logged in under diffrent ip but same user acct, cookies etc. suspension in less than ten minutes. So seperate user accts and cookies most certainly important to be aware of. Also dont work late at nite when your tired. That was my mistake.

I know someone that did this as well. He was helping me set up my account and he simply sent them a email stating that he was mentoring me and trying to help me with my store listings. They email him back and thanked him for the heads up and made a note and assured him he would not have to worry now. I do think they did mention that as long as their were separate bank accounts as well as different products sold it was fine
