I could of easily used a false mobile number and it was pure luck I used a mates address for stealth account

One more question is if you buy a stealth account how do you get access to the address?
How do you get the pin number by text.

I would love to no this one?

with a bought account you wont have access to the address

the phone verification will have already been done by the account seller

so a bought account will need a change of address straight away and does that look like a security issue on ebay?

Changing any info on an e/b or p/p account is always a risk.

Always proceed with caution and be prepared for an ID and address docs request

Not straight away .
This would raise flags .
You should wait as long as possible before changing address.
Letter to raise limits is random and doesnt happen to all new accounts.
Been happening about 1 time in 5 for me.
But once account has been selling for 90 days the letter is not required anyway and the option is no longer offered when you press "raise limits"
It simply goes upto 25/750

my accounts are bought now, as I kept making silly mistakes on my own ones and getting linked i gave up!

But I am having no problems like this raising the limits, I think you just got unlucky on this one dude... Have no fears purchasing an account if thats the way you want to go. The sellers here are very good!

I really wish people would spend more time reading here.

There are enough horror stories on the forums and post telling people NOT TO USE friends or families info.

Thank you!

A lot of people need to know this as they try to get higher limits on brand new accounts and end up losing them.

Patience builds strong accounts people.

Slow down and it will pay off.

I'm not sure why you would want to anyway's.

Anytime I tell anyone about the concept of "stealth accounts" they think I'm some scammer or up to something shady. Very few people understand the ebay business model and what it takes to be successful selling on ebay. It's much easier to do it yourself and not involve anyone else.

Besides using friends info is only going to lead to having less friends. I'd be pissed off if I let somebody use my name, only to find out I could never sell on ebay because of my "friend" ruining my name.

Using the name of a friend or family member does not make your account any better. You think ebay really cares if you use the name of your Uncle Charlie, or if you use the name of Charlie Sheen? It makes no difference, they look at your sales practice, your volume of sales, your items sold, reported items, etc. . .But follow the stealth guide. Do have a real address(I'm not saying that you need to live or have access to that address), and use a real phone number(that you do have access to, at least for registration).

"Most" people who do this just want an easy way out and not have to think outside of the box or put effort into going and getting a PO box or something.

One horror story is one that a person used their mom and dads info, created and account and used it. Did not tell mom and dad.

Dad lost his butt in the stock market melt down a few years back and was ready to retire so decided to start selling his case knife and other collectibles on ebay to make up the retirement money.

Well, he could not because some stupid kid of his stole his info and abused it and now dad has to work 2 more years to make up the lost investment.

Sad.

Wish I had the real info as I would hand them a ton of stealth accounts and show them how to make up for their stupid kid sneaking behind their back and work with them so dad wont have to work 2 more years then he should.

I have empathy. Back in 2010 I got my first suspension from ebay. I was frantic because I depended on my ebay sales to pay the bills. That day my heart felt like it sank to my stomach. It was actually a Holiday and I couldn't even be around my family, it was an awful feeling. I had no idea how easy it would be to get back on ebay with the right knowledge.

I went online and discovered this site and now, I will never be that victim again.
