Just wondering what you guys do when you want to sell personal items i have a business account which i am doing books for.
so if i wanted to sell a pair of jeans for example how do i go about this as i am having to print out receipts etc for items bought and sold?
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
Since it is a business account, are you charging tax? Will you be doing tax auditing at end of year? You would issue your same receipts like any other business transaction however you are causing problems for your business operations with this kind of transaction - deal with tax and paperwork for such a small item. Why not make another stealth and sell from there? I like to keep personal and business separate and untarnished

What is the exact position there as it would be best to make sure that account is also separate.
Hi greenbean, my mrs uses her eBay on my pc so we be defo linked was before I read some of this forum. That said she rarely uses her account anyway.
It's more for wondering if I have to put my personal items through the business even though there my personal items. May just give them her and she can list at her leisure. What you think?
Never sold clothes but know people that have and selling clothes can bring trouble to accounts.
If her account gets trouble becuase of a few clothes then it could bring trouble to your other (business) account because of the links of them both been used on the same computer unless you missus used/uses a different windows user account.
