Suspended because of brother

My brother was suspended from selling on ebay.
now I opened a selling account and they are restricting me too.

They told me that I have the same house address and same ip address which leads them to believe I am my brother. What can I do to fix this ?

what if I use my tablet only to check this account will that work ? or maybe If I change my ip and maybe get one of my cousins who already told me that he doesn't care to put his address and name on the account with an email with his name too, will that work?

which also leads me to this question : if a member goes to another members house who is suspended or restricted from ebay and logs into his own account , will that person get banned too ? it would be pretty unfair don't you think ?

please I need an answer ASAP , thanks !

If eB suspects you are attached to another account and has banned you, then the account is 99% done - not worth losing sleep over - learn stealth from the stealth guide and build new accounts.

Course it's unfair but it's the way the platform works.

Pick up the stealth guide and use this forum to get an understanding of how eba thinks and how they associate accounts.

I wouldn't log into my eBay account from anyone else's house.
I also wouldn't allow anyone to use my personal information to sell on eBay.

I know that you were suspended because your brother somehow ran afoul of eBay and you did not realize that your account would be linked since you are two separate people. But this just shows again why in stealth you NEVER want to use someone's real information.

Many newbies to stealth think it will be easier if they just sell on their friends or relatives accounts. But if anything goes wrong the relationship can suffer. I'll bet that you are slightly annoyed with your brother right now, even though he never used your information and did not intentionally bring you into this.

Go stealth and don't use anyone's real information.
