Default Is A Paypal Account A MUST

Hi guys, apologies if this has been asked before.....

Is having a paypal account linked to my stealth ebay account essential ?

I only sell large bulky items, which I prefer to do just cash on collection. Very occasionally I will do paypal (which is really my choice). However I do have to pay ebay fees (insertions and 10% seller fees)

Has anyone got a very simple answer to this dilemma ?

The setting up the ebay account (in stealth) appears to be the easier part, which I do understand

However once paypal and bank accounts get involved, I'm aware just how difficult it becomes to stay stealth and would prefer to avoid this added complication

Any help is really appreciated

in UK you have to offer paypal as one of your options, no way out of that.

as far as bank attached to paypal, you can have an unverified paypal acc attached, with no bank on it. You have a £650 receiving limit on it. Tricky though, maybe someone can chip in on it, as I hear people have trouble and keep getting messages that paypal must be verified, when trying to add an unverified paypal to ebay.

You can have on for £648 worth of transactions.

You get plagued too.

Buyers are brainwashed as regards accepting paypal.

Sales may be low.

@BIGdave, you can also pay eB fees in advance with a VCC rather than letting them dip into your pp

Hi guys, thanks for all the info

It's starting to make much more sense now having been reading the threads on here for a few days

I think the way forward, for me. will be open several stealth accounts, with £650 limits on each, using Entropay (VCC)

I find it so difficult to go slow though, but I do know I have to stay under the radar....

Tough.

Learn how to go slow and thus avoid tripping yourself up.

These are the days for you to be getting your new stealth skills working well.

Slow is nearly number one.

You should be thinking long term stealth.

Sadly paypal has brainwashed buyers to think that, NO paypal means no guaranty for getting your money back if something goes wrong.

To test this I open a skrill account (moneybookers) and let me tell you that out of 10 transaction only one paid with skrill the rest of the buyers some want it to pay through paypal and some never pay it for the item, leaving me to pay for the high ebay/paypal fees on my own.

I never understood why do we need a middle man to buy/sell in ebay?

I think my only saving grace is most of my transactions are cash on collection.

I hope that I can continue to create stealth accounts with a linked non verified stealth paypal account attached

Then send a payment to paypal to be used for insertion fees, sellers fees (10%)

Sounds toooo good to be true.....

Why are you complicating your stealth life?

Describe that paypal please.

Greenie......of course I'd rather have all my verified paypal and banks hooked up onto my ebay account, but can do without them....just

So as long as I've got some funds in my paypal account to pay the insertion and seller fees (and don't expect any returns, which I don't as it's cash) I may well be ok for a while !?!?!

Permitting I don't list over £650 as well (nearly forgot)
