So I got this plan going, help me make it {PEREFECT}

So heres what I think I need so far

PayPal Account (going to create this before the Ebay account itself)
VBA/VCC (Going to have to add these to my PayPal account for verified status)
⊗⊗⊗⊗ Name (Will have to think about if I want a complicated name or just an average name, as this might have an effect if they are trying to search the public database, not sure how there tactics go, because they could be using something like experian)
VPS (This stands for Virtual Private Server, and will be used for all communication between account and ebay, includes emails, and searching, etc, etc)
Tracphone (For PayPal calling/Ebay calling and for verifying the account)
Email Account (obvious reasons)
PO Box (good idea/ bad idea?)

I could be missing stuff, chime in, thanks.

Why do you need VPS if you are in the USA? Dongle and cellphone tethering is easier...or straight up DSL line

Because I can dedicated a single ip to an account. Are PO boxes the best to use, or is there a better way?

There is no need to have a dedicated single IP linked in with an account. So long as you track your IP address then its just an extra expense that can be avoided.

I don't know if this is true but I heard that ebay does not like Po Boxes. I have heard that from several people outside of this fourm in real life. I have a UPS box that has a real address. It can be expensive so make sure to call other stores because I learned that they can go over 200 dollars a year. The cheapest I found it was 130 I found one that was 250 dollars a year. Make sure to call around.

I pay 24.00 for 6 months at a mom and pop mail box.

Most USPS boxes range from only 30.00 tp 50.00 for the small boxes per 6 months.

What your looking for is a location that rents Mail Boxes. Might not be as popular as in other places.

I've alway's done fine using my home internet to change mac addresses, but lately I've been looking for ways to increase my ip range.

Let me know how the VPS works for you. I have very little knowledge on how it works. Do you install software on your computer that lets you access the server, how do you use the ip address they give you to be able to browse ebay?

I have a pretty good range of IP addresses, but in the grand scheme of things, IP is one way they track you down if you're doing big business as I am, and I need to be able to expand on what I have available. I also tether from my phone, but it's also got a limited range.

can somebody explain how dongles work.

is it something you just buy and plug in to your computer or do you have to pay a price each month..?

i am thinking of just purchasing a dongle instead of a router in order to change my IP Address

You buy the dongle - Top it up - Install it on your computer and plug it in. Then your good to go

You can also get them on contract.

You still need to track your IP using a dongle as you can get repeats.
