Buyer return after 2 months (Returned to sender)
I had an item returned to me by the buyer yesterday in the mail. It's unopened, intact and in the retail condition that I sold it in. Turns out, the buyer had refused to pay import charges at the receiving end and, following that, I got a message on eBay today saying that they'd got an email confirmed it was re-delivered to me.
The buyer then proceeds to ask about arranging a refund, however the purchase date was more than 2 months ago - bought and paid the 25th November, dispatched the 26th. I look in eBay and PayPal and the option for giving a refund isn't there at all.
So, advice on how to continue? deduct eBay fees / postage and refund the rest on eBay? What can the buyer do at this stage? Its about a £120 refund I'm looking at.
