I will try to make that brief so please bear with me.
Ok, this is my story.
I trade from Hong Kong, I had a good account with amazon.co.uk, and traded just over 2 years. Last year went really big (to me anyway). Obviously it took a little time to build up, first 6 months was quiet then things got better and better, but just before we were shut down, we had just short of 5000 feedbacks with 97% positive. We sell camera and stuff, averaging around £300 per item.
I cannot be 100% certain that I was shut down because of the last complaint about me selling "imported" items, we did have a few policy warnings over the course (but they have been unfair) and not to our surprise they do not listen to your explanation anyway.
We sensed the danger during the time so we had attempted to open an extra account last year or so, but not long after, that "new account" had received warning to state that they know it was linked to another and asked us to stop selling and lower the selling on account number 1. So we stopped number 2 and concentrated on number 1. (obviously back then we did not find this forum and GHOST) Obviously we read stories that they may shut you down for no reason, so they can sell your items instead.
Well, we are plain, simple business, and do not know the term "stealth" or "⊗⊗⊗⊗" . Details, everything is legit and real.
So, since the shut down, we tried opening number 3, obviously the way we have done this time from number 3, is (basically new everything)
New person
New business name (even register a new legit company)
New account holder
New phone number
New address (new location of office)
New IP
New computer
The computer was bought new and only used for emailing (amazon purposes) and amazon logging in. No personal facebook and crap. I accessed the pc via team viewer.
Obviously they did not last long, and a standard warning applies. and shut down. ( I had also mixed some items in there to build up the inventory)
Number 4 was quickly up and running in the same new everything concept so I do not believe that side of the things are in danger in linking accounts, however upon reading your book, the failure will fall into
1) selling same items
2) selling items too fast
I have the following questions;
1) does team viewer has any affect to it? will it cause it to be linked? (safe? in terms of connections?)
2) I do not entirely understand on how to do the mac change etc etc so I may opt to use new pc and new connection. So is that again "safe"?
3) it is mentioned about $750 / 28 days sales, as a safe selling limit, do you know if they have a scale so I know how much to sell over how long? And realistically, when is safe for me to hit full power? 3 months? 6 months?
4) I want a sustainable account for long, but if I can get 2 accounts running now, and just leave it selling low, I want to hit it hard in sept / oct to catch the xmas season.
5) You see, there are bank accounts that can branch out a sub account with different account name and numbers, do you think I can use that? or does it have to be completely new new bank accounts? as you know opening up a new business bank account is not as easy.
6) when I tried my account number 4 a couple of months back, I do not recall needing a pass port, and can you confirm that it is the case now and since when?
7) now this is a tricky one. It is mentioned that selling same items will flag up, but realistically come on amazon, people from hk sell camera, thats what they do,that is the fact, if every new hk based account is set up to sell cameras will be classified as linked, then no one from hk can ever get on it ?!?!? I cannot change from selling camera to tea bags, cos it wouldn't be worth it. So sells different stuff is that a temperarily measure for safety, or is that for good? And If it is just a temperarily thing, how long can I start selling camera again?
8) account deletion. I read about it on here, obviously its bad enough that they hold for 90 days, but if I risk opening up 2 more but using the ghost techniques, and if they still got linked after, from their super dooper computer, would I wish having the past accounts deleted? As account number 1 still have 7 weeks to go until past 3 months, and have a large amount of fund in it, account 2,3,4 are smaller funds but still bad enough if I lose them.
9) registering on amazon EU platform instead of uk, start selling in say fr or es and bring back to uk after 3 months, will that be more safe?
