eBay wants me to call them - What do I say?

Recently signed up for a new VPS. After trying to post an item for sale, it recognized I was at a different location than normal. (same country. different city approx 2 hours away) It was going to let me enter a phone number to receive a confirmation code from, but for some reason it said my number was invalid. Then the only option it gave me was to call them with a reference code or something.

I'm wondering what you think they will ask me, and what you think I should say in regards to the new location (assuming they ask about it). "I'm staying at a friends house?" I'm at a hotel?"

Just say something in broken, Indian-laced English and they will probably just get frustrated and hang up on you.

I always try to concoct a story that is both feasible and I am comfortable with. I don't want to be nervous and lose my nerve, so I have to come up with a pretty thorough back story that I almost believe myself. Pretty much any logical excuse will do, as to why you could possibly be at another location. Don't sweat it, you'll do great!

No matter what story you tell be prepared to answer some questions about the account such as DOB etc.
