Paypal and eBay new updates, needs help.

Hello Guys,

I am now to ebay suspensions form and trying to create 5 stealth accounts. Today, I tried to create a new pair of PP and EB, it seems that PP and EB now updates their system, a number of important steps on the handbook is missing. Needs you guys' help.

Have a look on the new changes first with PP and EB.

PP.
1. required to confirm the bank account straight away after the account creation.
2. No confirmation requirement for credit card anymore,
3. No address confirmation anymore.
4. Adding phone number verification and even request to set up PIN for phone access.
5. Require to use PP App to complete the account profile.

EB:
1. Does not require to confirm phone number.



Now my questions are:
1. with PP and EB updates, do we still need to verify credit card information?
2. How can I confirm our address?
3. Do we need to link the phone number to prevent limitation?
4. Do we have to use their APP?


Hope PP and eB will not change their monitoring methods, so that we all are under radar. Hope you could help me with these questions.

The profile "set up" on the new look Paypal has nothing to do with the verification process and the lifting of limits.

To answer your questions:-

1. This was never essential. It is certainly preferable but not certainly not essential. The account can be run with just a bank attached.

2. Click on the link for cards & banks. Click on "Classic Site". Click on "My Money" - "Cards" - Press "Link And Confirm". This can only be done after bank account has been added.

3. No. A working phone number is essential for ALL stealth accounts but the setting up of the PIN is NOT essential to prevent limitation.

4. No. Do NOT use the ebay or Paypal app if you run more than one account or indeed if you have ever previously run an ebay or Paypal account via an app on the same device.

For the phone number get a free SIM online and just put it in a £10 cheapo phone.

Interesting information in the UK Ebay section but it is now September 2014, and no postings in this section since beginning of this year! Ebay and paypal r changing all the time so how about some more recent updates, just got suspended Ebay account still active while things sell that are still on it and as such no paypal problems but cannot relist or list anything new, suspended 'cos close relative still using old Ebay account with same name as long ago so easy for them to link, dome more recent info would be appreciated

I think you'll find you are reading the dates of posts incorrectly.

The forum expresses dates in the US format - mm-dd-yy

Thanks for that ebayorbust yes you are right I am uk and there are a lot of USA/Canadian posts on here and the dates are different and obviously the times are as well, I have found more posts from 2014 now just be taking in some of the info in them

Regarding Paypal / eBay Stealth techniques, you won't find any more up to date information anywhere on the internet.

Yes I have been realising that ebayorbust, every time I log into here I find some new info which is excellent, there certainly is a lot to take in, I like the sound of using a dongle to ensure there is no way an account can be linked back to a suspended one, especially when home computer is full of cookies etc., from few years of previous use, relative who caused me to get suspended by still using a previous Ebay account they had been using when living here created a new user account that would obviously have no cookies in it but the computer just as obviously still would have the memory of the Ebay use that would go on to be suspended, also the email addresses, paypal links etc.,and the suspension did indeed come not to long after that new user id was created, interestingly it was years and years since that relative who kept their Ebay account with same name open had lived here but clearly still enough of a link for Ebay to suspend me as well as that relative
