Multiple Accounts and Tax

How do people get on with keeping everything above board as a business seller when using different names and addresses etc for multiple accounts?

Don't want to end up on the wrong side of ebay/paypal but even more so with the taxman.

"You can use an account under different name if you got a good reason for it" - thats what my accountant said.
I belive the only thing taxman cares about is if you paid right tax. Having an stealth account isnt against the law.

as i understand it the tax man wants to know how much profit you make and to tax you on that. how you get it doesn not matter to the tax people.
