Default Using a stealth account to increase sales to help defect % rate?

Hi guys,

The new defect rate rules have caused me to go slightly below standard on the Germany/Austria/Switzerland and the United States eBay programmes. I need to get a few more defect free sales to resolve this.

If I buy some of my stock using a UK stealth (non selling) account (primary address in UK) on ebay.de and "send" to a German address will this increase sales on the Germany, Austria and Switzerland programme?

Likewise, if I buy on eBay.com using the UK stealth account but "send" to an address in the United States, will this increase sale volumes for the USA programme?

Your plan is not a good idea.

Really need to be actually selling items to actual people for feedback.

It can be done if you're using VPNs and make sure you're not linking accounts on the same IP. But its not very wise as its pretty risky.

NOT advisable.
Feedback manipulation is something ebay are very good at spotting.
Instead why not just sell a bunch of cheapy items at rock bottom prices just to move some legit auctions and get legit feedbacks? You might lose a few dollars in the process but youll gain the feedbacks you need and not risk what youre suggesting.

I agree. It IS possible, but the likelihood of suspension is too great. Not to mention, it takes a LOT of sales to offset those negatives!

For example, if you have one ONE feedback, and it is NEGATIVE, your negative feedback rate is 100%. ONE more sale will drop that to 50%. You third sale drops it to 33% and your 4th sale 25%. It will take 9 sales + the negative to bring your negative rate down to 10% and 99 sales + the negative to bring it down to 1%.

So, it is not as simple as having a few positive feedbacks posted. It is VERY DIFFICULT to offset the negatives. A better plan would be to analyze what is going wrong and fix any issues that can be fixed. Some customers will complain no matter what. But when I see a lot of negatives, it usually boils down to shipping times or the quality of the products, both of which are solvable problems.
