Tracking doesn't match item location, will there be any problems?

I have a eBay and PP account registered fromTaiwan, but goods are shipped out from China, Germany, UK or Chicago depending on where the customer is located, will that be a problem when I put in a USPS tracking number coming out of Chicago even though the item says located in Taiwan?

It might - especially if you have any cases opened against you since ebay will be looking at the transaction and will notice the item location and the discrepancy in shipping location.

what if the item was FBA? Wouldn't that be a logical reason why items are shipped out from different locations?

if the account is a US account, why not list the item location as Chicago?
